Rural Minds Psychology provides compassionate and evidence-based mental health support to individuals and families in Central West NSW. We understand the challenges of accessing mental health care in regional areas and aim to bridge that gap through a mix of face-to-face and telehealth sessions.

Founder, Meg McClurg is a Registered Psychologist with over 8 years experience. Meg grew up in Parkes and is passionate about supporting rural communities with accessible and quality mental health care.

About Meg

Meg McClurg is a Registered Psychologist with experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families to improve their mental health and wellbeing. She also works with athletes, coaches, and teams, providing mental performance support across all levels of sport. Meg brings a warm, authentic, and down-to-earth approach to therapy, creating a space where clients feel truly seen and supported.

To make psychological care more accessible Meg offers a mix of both face to face and telehealth appointments

Appoinments are offered in Forbes every 6-8 weeks 
Telehealth 
Appointments are offered between in person visits for consistency and continuity. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral?

No, you don’t need a referral to book an appointment. However, a referral from a GP under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) will allow you to access a Medicare rebate.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Do you work with schools and sporting organisations?

Yes — Meg can offer support for student mental health and wellbeing, teams, coaches, parents and athletes.
